The rain had stopped for the best turn-out on a Wednesday night for ages. Gareth led Sophie, Ed, Andy J, Jason, Claire, Lou, and Chris across the fell to the Gill.

Those who hadn't enjoyed Christmas so much slithered down the entrance shaft like greased eels while some of us who had had a bit too much Christmas cheer had a thrutch and a grunt and then went down Mistral.
